Chez Fred

Alain Piazza has been running this traditional Lyon-style eatery near the Porte Maillot metro station in the 17th district, since 1995 and the original decor remains unchanged, it is still just as unique with its walls covered with vintage posters and its surprising collection of caps and hats. While the Lyon specialities, the excellent meat and the set dish of the day are still a welcome fixture, the new chef of the bistro Chez Fred who has recently come to them from Tante Marguerite is a breath of fresh air with a daily specials board featuring beautiful seasonal products, usually presented in a very modern way.
