Chez Georges
- Bistro
273, boulevard Pereire - Paris 17ème
Situated in the 17th district, this genuine Paris bistro, first opened in 1926, has just been taken over by the Menut brothers (La Grande Cascade, Garnier, etc.) Everything in this restaurant contributes to the bistro atmosphere: the to-ing and fro-ing of the waiters, the leather bench seats, the white tablecloths, the heavy silverware, the etched windows, the wood and copper decoration. The cuisine is also traditional and authentic with old faithfuls like knife-cut tartare or roast farm leg of lamb with flageolet beans.
