Among all of the restaurants near Motte Picquet on the 15th district, one stands out. La Gauloise has been completely reinvented. They have kept the old wooden panelling but have carried out a complete refurbishment of the rest of this beautiful bistro, yet have managed to retain their faithful band of regulars. The traditional French cuisine is great home-cooked fare and is plentiful and tasty, also excellent value for money. On a nice day the terrace of La Gauloise is a godsend for sun worshipers.
