Going to the Brasserie Julien is like entering another world, dining in another era. Waiters clad in black and white swirl round tables serving cuisine that is both traditional and varied, against an Art Nouveau backdrop featuring ornate mirrors and Mucha's famous Gismonda. Vitreous paintings of women bedecked with flowers grace the walls, atrium windows are similarly floral. This famous decor has made it the "in" place for Parisian dining and a favourite haunt for many famous French actors, such as Dany Boon, Gad Elmaleh or Fabrice Luchini.
